North Peak Resources (TSXV: NPR)'s Executive Chairman & CEO Brian A Hinchcliffe has only served as CEO of two other publicly traded companies. He was the founding President & CEO of Kirkland Lake Gold (KL) and the founding Chairman & CEO of Rupert Resources (TSXV: RUP). KL today has a market cap of US$10.963 billion. RUP today has a market cap of CAD$1 billion. NPR today has an insanely low market cap of CAD$45 million (US$35.4 million).
Brian A Hinchcliffe is not CEO of Galway Metals (TSXV: GWM). His brother Robert P Hinchcliffe is CEO of GWM. When NPR's CEO Brian A Hinchcliffe became the founding President & CEO of Kirkland Lake Gold (KL) his brother Robert P Hinchcliffe was CFO of KL.
NPR's CFO Robert Suttie is also CFO of GWM. NPR's Chief Geologist/Director Mike Sutton is also Chief Geologist/Director of GWM.
We are well aware that GWM is trading for only $0.61 per share with a market cap of CAD$109 million, but even a market cap of CAD$109 million would still value NPR at $5.11 per share. When gold last made a big rally in the summer of last year, GWM on August 6, 2020, hit a new all-time high of $2.09 per share where its market cap briefly reached CAD$336 million. If NPR only reaches a market cap this year of CAD$336 million, NPR will rise to $15.75 per share!
Also keep in mind that GWM was a FREE spin-off company! When GWM's CEO Robert P Hinchcliffe sold his last company Galway Resources for $2.05 per share or CAD$302 million in cash, Galway Resources shareholders also received a FREE share of GWM.
Initially, GWM's market cap was only $5.2 million, but Robert P Hinchcliffe turned FREE spin-off shares into ANOTHER extremely valuable asset after his Galway Resources shareholders were ALREADY paid CAD$302 million in cash!
NPR is in a significantly better mining jurisdiction than GWM and has a much tighter share structure.
