Ever since NIA's Tuesday morning alert pointing out that Solaris Resources (TSX: SLS) was about to rally as a result of Lumina Gold (TSXV: LUM) being acquired... SLS gained by 5.76% on Tuesday, gained by 9.68% on Wednesday, gained by 6.07% on Thursday, and gained by 5.72% on Friday.
It certainly appears as though an SLS buyout is imminent... however, in our opinion, buying Augusta Gold (TSX: G) is exactly the same thing as buying SLS only with much more upside.
If SLS gets acquired within the next 30 days, it will probably be for $2 billion. So, the upside from its current market cap of $1 billion isn't too great.
Solaris Resources (TSX: SLS) has the following analysts covering it: Bereket Berhe of Beacon Securities, Rene Cartier of BMO Capital Markets, Dalton Baretto of Canaccord, Heiko F. Ihle of H.C. Wainwright & Co., Shane Nagle of National Bank, Sam Crittenden of RBC Capital Markets, Tate Sullivan of Maxim Group.
Augusta Gold (TSX: G) has the following analysts covering it: nobody.
Ever since our initial suggestion of Augusta Gold years ago, we have never seen anybody else suggest the company. Triple Flag (TFPM)'s buyout of Orogen Royalties (TSXV: OGN) for 185% above our suggestion price makes us like Augusta 1,000x more than before.
The key is investing prior to all the analyst coverage.
We listened last night to 'The mysterious death of a geologist - The Six Billion Dollar Gold Scam' of BBC World Service all 9 episodes.
The same mania that took place over Busang (which wasn't even real) is about to take place once again over Expanded Silicon a very real gold deposit in Nevada worth $5 billion. The problem is it is owned by AngloGold Ashanti (AU) and you can't invest into Expanded Silicon directly, but you can invest into the directly adjacent Bullfrog and Reward gold projects of Augusta Gold (TSX: G) that will go into production long before Expanded Silicon. Bullfrog and Reward will be completely mined out prior to Expanded Silicon producing a single ounce of gold.
