Once again, Bitfinex/Tether CTO Paolo Ardoino tried to cover up his scam and the fact that you can't wire $1 billion on a Sunday by replying, "1B USDt inventory replenish on Tron Network. Note this is a authorized but not issued transaction, meaning that this amount will be used as inventory for next period issuance requests and chain swaps."
Let's see how long it takes Tether to transfer approximately (by not exactly) $1.5 billion USDT to FTX. It probably won't be today, but sometime within the next few days. Then FTX will announce it has closed on a $1.5 billion VC round and is now worth $40 billion. CNBC and Forbes will cheerlead Sam Bankman-Fraud moving up even higher in the wealthiest billionaire rankings even though it's FTX stock backing the currency being invested into it!
Voyager's private placement investment from FTX/Alameda still hasn't closed. We wonder if the TSX has an issue with Voyager being paid in USDT.
