There is one newly listed cannabis stock that we have been closely following in recent weeks. It just surpassed its key breakout point to reach a new all-time high and we expect to see major gains for it next week: Transcanna (CSE: TCAN).
We consider TCAN to be the #1 momentum play in the market today. TCAN has just surpassed its key breakout point of $2.90 per share and is now up to a new all-time high of $3 per share. We expect many investors to find out about TCAN over the weekend and strongly believe it could explode on Monday. TCAN is focused on the California cannabis market, which we believe will become bigger than the Canadian cannabis market.
TCAN recently signed a lease on a 10,000 sqft building currently being constructed in Adelanto, California and expected to be complete on April 30th. In addition, TCAN acquired an option to purchase a 196,000 square foot warehouse on a 7 acre property in Modesto, California.
TCAN raised $2.2 million in its January IPO and is currently in the process of completing an additional private placement to raise another $10 million. TCAN intends to build a porfolio of 15 Premium Cannabis Brands targeting the California cannabis market. TCAN is looking to acquire already established brands while internally creating its own brands that the company will seek to grow organically.
After going public in January, TCAN signed a LOI to acquire Goodfellas Group, LLC, the creator of "Simple", and The Simple Kit, to assist first time cannabis consumers to experience cannabis in a positive way.
