One Stop Systems (OSS) has been involved in several major projects of NASA to help NASA power its supercomputers:
OSS technology was used to power the SOFIA astronomy project when NASA Dryden received MDA-T5 data recorders and 3U servers from OSS. SOFIA is a joint project between NASA and the German Aerospace Center. OSS is a very large company and owns a German based subsidiary called Bressner Technology GmbH that is separate from its AI supercomputer subsidiary in California. Bressner also produces aerospace products.
OSS delivered two PCIe Gen 3 expansion enclosures to NASA Goddard Space. OSS recently released Gen 5 of this technology so the odds are high that NASA will upgrade its OSS supercomputer systems in 2025!
OSS provided PCIe expanders, LSI MegaRaid 9265/9285 series RAID controllers, and OCZ Vertex 3 solid-state disk drives for an additional NASA demonstration.
OSS is the world's #1 leading high performance supercomputer company for rugged environments including space.
In August 2024, Space-X began using GPUs in space for the very first time working with newly launched privately held venture capital backed start-up Aethero a small competitor of OSS.
For larger scale projects using high performance supercomputers in space, Space-X and NASA would have no choice but to work with OSS because they are the market leading company. In addition, NASA and the U.S. Department of Defense require all of the technology it uses to be AS9100 Certified and One Stop Systems (OSS) has become AS9100 Certified. OSS start-up competitor Aethero isn't AS9100 Certified.
If any company claims they are going to sell their products to NASA and the U.S. Air Force, but they aren't AS9100 Certified they are lying. We know Space-X itself is AS9100 Certified but they may not require every component to be AS9100 Certified like NASA.
We totally agree with Aethero that satellite processing power is still very primitive and the software and AI and ML applications that can run on board are very much limited. There is definitely a ton of latency of getting data down. OSS CEO Mike Knowles was literally the President of the $700 million division of Cubic that owned satellite technology company Nuvotronics. Afterwards, he led a $2 billion division of Curtiss-Wright (CW) an aerospace defense contractor focused on creating mission critical components.
OSS has a 15-year head start over Aethero. We don't have an inside source at Space-X to tell you for sure exactly what is going on, but we can almost guarantee you... Space-X signed a small contract with Aethero as a "favor" for some VC investor who has invested into both companies. For a larger project, Space-X will have no choice but to go with OSS, which is the company NASA has always relied upon for all of its supercomputer needs!
If Aethero was a publicly traded company, it would already be worth $1 or $2 billion based on the hype from a small Space-X contract.
OSS is a one-of-a-kind AI supercomputer technology company for rugged mission critical military, defense, and space applications... just like Augusta Gold (TSX: G) is a one-of-a-kind gold company and the only company with a fully permitted construction ready gold project directly adjacent to America's #1 largest newly discovered gold deposit in nearly 15 years.
This is our job to find these opportunities for you while everybody else mindlessly invests into Nukkleus (NUKK) and Quantum Computing Inc (QUBT)!
