NIA's new #1 favorite gold stock suggestion is: Brixton Metals (TSXV: BBB) or BBBXF on the U.S. OTCQB. BBB is currently trading for $0.28 per share.
Over the past year, NIA had huge success with Ascot Resources (TSX: AOT), the owner of the Premier and Red Mountain projects in the Golden Triangle of BC. BBB's largest shareholder is billionaire Eric Sprott who owns 24,345,167 BBB shares after adding 22,250,000 BBB shares on August 9, 2019. Another large BBB shareholder is Rob McEwen who was the founder and former Chairman and CEO of Goldcorp, which was acquired last year by Newmont Mining (NEM) for $10 billion. Last month, billionaire Robert Friedland purchased 8,510,638 shares of BBB.
Friedland is the current Chairman and CEO of High Power Exploration a privately-owned mineral exploration and development company. On October 26, 2020, BBB entered into an earn-in and joint venture agreement with High Power Exploration for BBB's wholly owned Hog Heaven Project in Montana. The agreement could be worth up to USD$44.5 million. High Power Exploration can earn a 51% interest in BBB's Hog Heaven Project by making cash payments to BBB of USD$4.5 million and by incurring USD$15 million in exploration expenditures. High Power Exploration can further increase its interest in BBB's Hog Heaven Project to 75% by incurring an additional USD$25 million in exploration expenditures.
BBB also owns 100% of the past producing Langis Mine Project located in the Cobalt Camp of Ontario. Yesterday, BBB announced that its drill hole LM20-93 intercepted three near surface mineralized intervals of silver including: 6m of 193 g/t silver only 2.6m downhole, 4m of 127 g/t silver only 17.6m downhole, and 3m of 647 g/t silver only 32.6m downhole.
