NIA is excited to announce its #1 favorite NYSE listed gold stock suggestion Dakota Gold (DC).
The #1 largest producing gold mine in U.S. history was the Homestake Mine in Lead, SD. It operated for over 125 years from 1876 through 2002 and produced 43.9 million oz of gold.
DC is currently drilling at its Maitland Gold Project located approximately three miles north and contiguous with the Homestake Mine the richest gold mine in U.S. history!
One week ago, DC announced that it intercepted extremely high grades of gold at Maitland. DC intercepted 25.03 g/t gold over 4.4 meters. In another drill hole, DC intercepted 9.36 g/t gold over 2.62 meters. The width, grade and stratigraphy of intercepts identified at Maitland to date are analogous to the gold mineralization found in the "West Ledge" system at the historic Homestake Mine that produced over 6 million oz of gold.
DC's drill holes targeting Homestake Mine-style gold mineralization have now produced multiple high-grade gold intercepts in at least three distinct ledges within the JB Gold Zone at Maitland: 34 Ledge, 35 Ledge and 36 Ledge. Drilling at Maitland is transitioning from wider spacing of approximately 250 meters, to tighter spacing to delineate the ledges now outlined which remain open along strike and to depth.
DC's brand-new high-grade gold discoveries at Maitland are located at a much shallower depth than exploration results from the upper portion of the West Ledge system at Homestake. In the West Ledge system at Homestake, which ultimately produced over 6 million oz of gold, the highest gold grades were encountered at depths that DC’s exploration programs have not yet drill tested. DC has exclusive access to 145 years of historical drilling data for the Homestake District and based on this data it fully expects to find even higher gold grades and additional ledges as drilling continues at its Maitland Gold Project directly to the north of the Homestake Mine the #1 richest gold mine in U.S. history.
DC is also currently drilling at Richmond Hill, which is located 2.3 miles west of Maitland and 1.5 miles north of Coeur Mining’s active Wharf Mine, which produced 93,502 oz of gold in 2023. Both Richmond Hill and Maitland are located on private land and will provide operational synergies due to their close proximity.
DC currently has four drills on site at its properties in the Homestake District of South Dakota. We expect to see consistent news flow of drilling results for a long time to come. During the Great Depression as the Dow Jones Industrial Average declined by 74%, Homestake Mining Company increased by 474%.
DC is the type of gold stock that Gen-Z investors will love because it can be traded on Robinhood. There is more history behind the Homestake District than any other gold district in North America, which means this is the type of gold story that can quickly go viral on social media! South Dakota has a pro-mining culture, and the government strongly supports responsible mine development!
