HSLV Gains by 7.94% to New All-Time High of $2.31 Per Share

Highlander Silver (CSE: HSLV) gained by 7.94% today to a new all-time high of $2.31 per share. HSLV has so far gained by 65% since NIA's suggestion on the evening of February 12th at $1.40 per share.

The San Luis project has a historical resource of 348,000 oz Au (22.4 g/t) and 9,003,300 oz Ag (578.1 g/t).

San Luis is so valuable that when Silver Standard Resources discovered 35.25m @ 5.54 g/t Au & 25.43 g/t Ag (including 3.2 m @ 30.2 g/t Au & 114.8 g/t Ag) from 19.1 m downhole at the Bonita Target in historical drill hole BOD-001, they only followed up with one more historical drill hole.

We dug into Silver Standard's old filings to find out why:

"Phase 1 of the initial drill evaluation program in the Bonita Zone comprises 10 diamond drill holes, of which two holes were completed in the third quarter of 2014. These two holes confirm the extension of the mineralized structures to greater than 80 meters below their surface exposures. In the period leading up to the municipal elections, drilling was suspended as issues were raised regarding the application of our exploration agreement to the area required for exploration of the Bonita zone. Elections have now been held and we are in discussions with the community leaders to confirm our agreement and re-commence drilling."

HSLV has already signed an exploration agreement with the Cochabamba community with a duration of 5 years. HSLV has a permanent presence in the community of Cochabamba, carrying out informative meetings, and also promoting economic and cultural activities for all community members in the project area.
