Elon Musk is a genius at... coming up with excuses to sell Tesla (TSLA) stock. He is smart to be unloading as many TSLA shares as possible. It has nothing to do with Twitter (TWTR) that is just his latest distraction, like the CyberTruck and DogeCoin... and we actually like Elon Musk for creating something real (although he does rely on government subsidies).
Anyway, we have a feeling that there is going to be a glut of lithium production in the upcoming years, but a shortage of tellurium production. Lithium supplies are about to increase tremendously, possibly at a rate much greater than lithium demand. We say this as an organization that was involved in the early days of the lithium boom with Lithium-X (created by Brian Paes-Braga and Frank Giustra), which got acquired at a huge premium above our suggestion price! (click here to listen to Brian Paes-Braga interviewing NIA's President last year)
Nobody is thinking about tellurium right now because it is a relatively small market, but demand for tellurium is about to grow exponentially in the years ahead due to First Solar (FSLR)'s huge projected growth (their largest ever CdTe plant opens early next year) plus the new upcoming Lithium-Tellurium EV Battery.
Similar to how Lithium-X was the only high-quality lithium play in the early days of the lithium boom, First Tellurium (CSE: FTEL) is the only tellurium play today. We suspect that many people will be turning their current lithium companies into tellurium companies by the end of next year.
