He is definitely the most prominent friend of Trump and played a huge role in helping Trump get elected, which has allowed Ross Ulbricht to be pardoned. We didn't think Ross Ulbricht would be pardoned because we were so disappointed when Trump didn't pardon Julian Assange and Edward Snowden. Our guess is Trump regrets not pardoning Julian Assange because it allowed Biden's people to "work out a deal" to free him and we need to give Biden credit for doing the right thing in that situation (the only good thing he did while in office).
