To shop on Bullion Direct's web site you need to click on "Catalog" on the top menu of the homepage. The catalog displays a list of Bullion Direct's "Hottest Products". Near the top of the catalog, you can choose between Silver, Gold, Platinum and Palladium products. When you click on the type of metal, Bullion Direct displays a description and price of their products for that metal on one page, making it easy to compare products. You can then click on the symbol of the product for a picture and detailed description. Bullion Direct offers nearly all sizes of gold products from a 1/20 oz Chinese Panda to a 32.150 oz gold kilo bullion bar.

At the time of our review update, Bullion Direct had the lowest prices for 1 oz American Eagle gold coins and 1 oz Canadian Maple Leaf gold coins. Bullion Direct’s prices were $7.64 higher than Gainesville Coins for a 1 oz South African Kruggerand and $6.94 higher than Kitco for a 1 oz gold bar.

Bullion Direct charges a 4% extra fee for people paying with credit cards compared to Gainesville Coins' credit card fee of 2.75%. Therefore, when paying with a credit card, Gainesville Coins is still cheaper for all gold coins.

For silver, at the time of our review update Bullion Direct's prices were $0.18 higher than Gainesville Coins for a 1 oz .999% pure silver bar and $0.58 higher than Lear Capital for a 1 oz American Eagle Silver Coin.

Bullion Direct has a credit card spending limit of $1,500 every 30 days.

Bullion Direct has a $25,000 maximum order amount for new customers.

Bullion Direct does not have a toll-free customer service number. When you call their customer service number, nobody is there to take your call and you are told to leave a message that will be converted to an email and routed to the appropriate department.
