DC Co-Chair and Largest Shareholder Built Silver Standard and Founded Pretium

The Co-Chairman and largest shareholder of Dakota Gold (DC) is Robert Quartermain who most recently founded and became Executive Chairman of Pretium Resources in 2010, which successfully developed the Brucejack Mine in the Golden Triangle and got acquired in 2022 for $2.8 billion. He was also the President/CEO of Silver Standard Resources from 1985 through 2010, turning it from a small silver explorer into a major silver producer.
